Proces HPSMHD.EXE?
Proces HPSMHD.EXE is using my credentials for something. This happens once a week. As result my account is lockout.
What is Proces HPSMHD.EXE doing and why is it using my credentials?

Re: Proces HPSMHD.EXE?
hi,
it'll probably be one of your weekly tasks, check there and also in the audit log.
it's a system monitor daemon for system management homepage.

Re: Proces HPSMHD.EXE?
Thanks for your quick response!
Maybe it's the software status Polling Task? In Audit log I don├в t see the problem.
Is there a "Software status Polling" log? Is it possible to see (create) a "Software status Polling" log?

Re: Proces HPSMHD.EXE?
Hi There,
This is probably associated "HP System Management Homepage" ( http://docs.hp.com/en/365395-004/365395-004.pdf ), which is delivered with HP SIM. Its services are run by the HP SIM administrator user's credentials.
I believe SMH is used to deliver HP SIM's web-based UI. I bet HP SIM is set up with a weekly task that is performed via SMH. Maybe you can find more info on the specifics by poking around the HP SIM interface or the SMH interface referenced in the above doc.
Best Regards,
-Andy Claiborne
