Proliant DL 360 G5
Hey Everyone,
We have just installed our first Linux server using Redhat ES 4 along the latest Proliant Support Pack. However we cannot see any LED activity on the on the HP System Insight Display when ejected. Can someone please explain how to activate this?
Kind Regards,
Mark Bayliss

Re: Proliant DL 360 G5
Hi Mark,
The HP Systems Insight Display LEDs represent the system board layout.
Systems Insight Display is an assembly that includes the front panel LEDs, Power On/Standby button, and a cable.
Try to check the cable connecting to the system board, its called the Systems Insight Display cable.
Try this to reconnect the System Insight Display:

Re: Proliant DL 360 G5
Thanks for your reply.
I check the cables as mention in the manual. Still not working, but funny enough the System Display part smelt like a capacitor has blown.
I might give technical support a call.
Will post a reply once everything is working.
Cheers,
Mark
