I'm sorry, I used a local document on my hard drive which listed port 280 in the table where the link I gave you listed port 80. Must have been a typo.

I'm not so sure now that it was a typo, but I did a test where I tried to manually add the trusted certificate from the CMS server to a client which failed. I then looked through the windows firewall log on the CMS server and saw packets dropped using port 280, as you stated. Opening this tcp port allowed me to manually add the certificate to the client. Even still, I am getting the same error when I click on the SW status icon within SIM, there is still something else missing, HP's documentation on this isn't very thorough.
