Question concerning PCI DSS compliancy and HP SIM Components

Hi,

 

The company I work at are performing PCI DSS compliancy on their environment. One of the servers runs HP SIM and only HP SIM. 

 

I have noticed a number of roles and features installed however I could not see any of these covered in the installation guide / requirements section and I was hoping if any more knowledgable people here could advise if these components are actually required by HP SIM.

 

Roles:

-Application Server - Role

-Web Server (IIS) - Role 

-File Services - Role

Common HTTP Features (Role Service)

Default Document (Role Service)

Request Filtering (Role Service)

Halth and Diagnostics (Role Service)

HTTP Errors (Role Service)

HTTP Logging (Role Service)

Performance (Role Service)

Request Monitor (Role Service)

IIS Management Console (Role Service)

Static Content Compress (Role Service)

Static Content (Role Service)

Web Server (Role Service)

File Server (Role Service)

 

Features:

SNMP Service

SNMP Services

SNMP WMI PRovider

WIndows Process Activation Service

Configuration APIs

.NET Environment

Process Model

 

Edit: Apologies missed this crucial info : We are running version 7.3.0 on Windows Server 2008r2.

Hello there,

 

The only things you would need are the SNMP and WMI providers. No other roles or features.
