R 5500 XR UPS with SNMP don't be reconized by HPSIM

We've bought an HP R5500UPS with an SNMP card.
I configured the snmp card to send the trap to our HPSIM manager with the correct communauty.
the UPS is seen by SIM as 'Unmanaged'

so I can't receive traps from the UPS
does anyboby know the solution ?

If you have your networked UPS managed by HP Power Manager 4.x and configure HPPM to send traps to HPSIM, it would work. See details on this on the HPPM User's Guide under Integration with HPSIM chapter.
