Recent PSP 7.70 issues occur on upgrade only?

Hi All,

I've been reading the issues with PSP 7.70 over the last few weeks. From what I can tell the issues occur when an upgrade to PSP 7.70 is done.

Has this been the case or have new OS installs with PSP 7.70 run into problems as well?

We have been running 7.70 for quite some time now and have not had too many issues with it. 99% of ours were upgrades.
The only problem I sometimes have is with the VCA going out to la-la land. Usually if I just restart the service and repoll, it comes back. Sometimes it takes a little more work than that.
We are now testing 7.80 and plan on deploying that soon.

Most of our servers are running 2003, with only a handful running 2000.

I know this isn't much help and maybe we have just been very fortunate with this PSP:)

It's nice to hear you haven't had too many issues with a fresh install of 7.70. Does you version control agent stop functioning and become non responsive?

Opps just noticed you said upgrade.

Yes, we are having a little trouble with that, and the system homepage on some servers after a reboot. But only a handful.
