Regarding thresholds

Hello,

I have to admit that I find some of the documentation for Insight Manager a bit unaccessable. This is probably because of me being a somewhat unexperienced user, but perhaps also the fact that I'm a bit spoiled with the standards of documentation for Openview products from which I have more experience.

My question is quite simple, in my mind at least, :

Can I set thresholds for CPU, Memory and virtual memory in the GUI on management server and deploy this to my managed sysytems ,and if so, how? I encourage those how tries to answer this question to do it thoroughly so that the people using this forum once and for all will have a good reference.

The disk threshold is very easy to adjust so I just don't understand why this is so uncomprehensible.

PS! I know how to configure it from the node, also on cluster nodes from the management server.

Disk thresholds are the only ones that can be replicated by HP SIM. The theory is that the others are not particularly suited to 'one size fits all...'
