Remote support configuration and services won't load
Hi,
Running HP SIM 6.3 on a windows 2008R2 VM. Now We had issues with IRSA 05.50 so we upgraded to 05.60.
But apparently this didn't solve anything. The same issues still show up. These are:
When opening the software manager gui and doing things like 'update a package' or just test connection the rsswm_radman process will crash and burn.
- even tho all services are running, when I go to the Remote support config and services page in HP SIM it will just say ' IE can't open this page'
Any suggestions, troubleshooting tips ?

- What version of IE are you using?
- Are you using a Web proxy?

I have this same issue. Did you find an answer?
I am using IE9 and as far as I know not using a Web Proxy.

I'm not sure IE9 is support as it has a different security model to previous versions. I would try mozilla firefox 7 as i know it works and see if that helps.

Hi,
I know that Insight Control/SIM works with IE9 but the installation procedure doesnt support IE9.
There is a way to uninstall IE9 and automatically fall back on IE8.
Go to Server Manager and under Features you can un-select IE9... After reboot you have IE8...
Give it a try...

The IRS client plugs into the SMH. IS SMH running ok and you can login to it?

Sorry for losing track of this topic, but the customer was unavailable for 2 weeks. He does use IE9, I'll be going back there later this week and try some of these suggestions :)
