I have a number of DL380 and 360 G3's that have dual NIC setup as network teams however due to the lack of available patch ports I can only connect the primary NIC. The second NIC is disabled in windows (2003) but HPSIM still reports the server as having a failed team. Is there any way I can exclude the 2nd NIC or configure HPSIM so that it reports it as ok.
Minor pain but if anyone has an answer it would be appreciated.
Thanks
Gary

Solution
I had the same issue here.
Make sure that the team is actually disolved. We found that even though we disabled the second NIC, in some cases the team was not disolved and this error still showed up.
Disable the second NIC in Network COnnections. If a static IP is needed, it will need to be reassigned to the NIC you are using.
If teaming was previously allowed, make sure any WAN settings on the switches and the ports on their end have been reconfigured properly.
