Reporting Windows OS+SP levels in HP SIM

Hi,
Is there are way I can use SIM to audit our Servers and return their OS and Service Pack level? A standard audit of OS does not include this.

Many thanks

Gab,
create new report and choose General->Operation system information fields (see attach file)
You will get all OS info, include SP level

Igor, thanks - then I must have another problem. Take a look at the attached output I get when I run the Operating System Information report - i see no SP information (i blanked out our hosts and descriptions).

Strange.
Do you have last PSP installed?
Are you sure all related HPSIM tasks (initial data collection, software version status polling,...) completed?

Are you see required information when you go to system management homepage->->system->system info ? (locally on server)

I attach screen from my HPSIM.

Re: Reporting Windows OS+SP levels in HP SIM

Im still on HP 5.0 SP3

The software polling task looks to be running fine on a seven day schedule and when i connect to the homepage for a given server it does correctly give me the system info and service pack level. Strange why I do not see this detail in a report, and also the report has 'Windows NT' in the version column
