Reporting of updates via VCA
Is it possible for VCA or HPSIM to create a report of updates on a server done via VCA?
I have a customer that wants the updates applied but wants an email detailing the updates applied and details of the updates themselves. I am not going to do this manually obviously as they time involved would be tremendous when you take into consideration the manual copying and pasting that would be required. Is there a way to automate this?
Thanks
Chris

Re: Reporting of updates via VCA
Not that I know of, the details of the updates are held on the Client Server, not the HPSIM Server.
You can see the log file (cpqsetup.log) that the VCA uses in: C:\CPQSYSTEM\log
This file would normally contain all of the updates done on that server. Not the easiest thing to digest.

That is what I thought but wanted to make sure.
Thanks for the response.
