Repository Manager - HP Sim 5.1 SP1
Hi,
I have a problem whereby my servers cannot see any packs in the repository manager, although it shows as being populated.
The message is
"Version Control Repository Manager
No inventory information is available to obtain a list of Support Packs from."
Can anybody help please ?
Scott

Re: Repository Manager - HP Sim 5.1 SP1
Scott,
On the server you are trying to connect to the VCRM, did you configure the Version Control Agent?
Go on to the SMH of the box and look for the Version Control Agent link. When you click on this link it will take you to the VCA page and there is another link to update your VCA settings to point to the correct VCRM.
I also think you can use the repair agent task to push to that client or any amount.
Hope that helps. I am new to this SIM thing and a bit overwhelmed with all the different software components.

Re: Repository Manager - HP Sim 5.1 SP1
VC Agent configured correctly , have even used the lowest form of security. Uninstalled and reinstalled no difference.
Have decided not to use SIM anymore its complete rubbish.
very unhappy.
