SIM 5.0 SP4 Data Collection Issue

Im trying to add a whole group of machines into my sim box, but for some reason they wont display the machine name info, OS version etc. Everytime I do a data collection on any of the machines I get a failure, with the message "the device does not have any supported instrumentation". There is a firewall between, but from sim outbound all ports are open, and inbound from client snmp is open. Are there any other ports I need to open for this data collection? Does anyone know why I am getting this message?
