SIM 5.1 SP 1 stops suddenly without warning
Help!!!
The SIM 5.1 SP1 is on a DL380 G5 (windows2003 server standard ed. SP2). Noticed that the application just stopped. If we reboot, the SIM 5.1 is fine until it stops again. It stops at random times.
When trying to open login page, get message" an error occured connecting to the system insight manager server...java.lang.nullpointerexecption". I checked the system/event log and found the following....
Event Type: Error
Event Source: HP Systems Insight Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 3
Date: 1/20/2009
Time: 6:44:12 AM
User: N/A
Computer: WILNETOPS-11
Description:
mxdomainmgr(error): Received an remote exception doing lookup to RMI registry.

any help would be appreciated.....
