SIM 5.1 - white screen after login

Hello folks,

I have a nasty problem with a HP SIM 5.1 installation on a HP DL360 G4 with Windows Server 2003 SP2. I installed SIM and it worked for a few days. After a few days I was getting a white screen after the login and the following message was logged in the mxdomainmgr.0.log.

29 Mai 12:40:23,862 ERROR [[jsp]] Servlet.service() for servlet jsp threw exception
java.lang.NullPointerException

I uninstalled the SIM and did a complete new installation: Same error. The error occured regardless of browser or client from which I' trying to login. I attached the mxdomainmgr.0.log at this post.

Does anyone got a solution for this problem?

Sorry, it's a SIM 5.3 (C.05.03.01.00).

Hi,

I think you database might have been corrupted. Did you re-install SQL Server as well?

I've been having the same problem with 5.3. I tried reinstalling SIM and SQL, and also downgrading. Not sure where to go from here...

yes. Even after a complete new installation (empty database) the error occurred.
