SIM 5.3 Interface hanging after login

After upgrading 5.2.2 to 5.3, I've now got an issue where SIM is apparently hanging on the interface.

As far as I can tell, SIM is still functioning. It called out a failed BBWC module on a box last night.

I can log into the system. But once I log in, it never gets to an interface. It just sits there, the page says Done. Refreshing the screen does not help.

This occurs remotely and locally to the SIM server itself.
