SIM 6.3 on RHEL6.1 x86_64 - Sign In Failure

Hi,

I just finished installing SIM 6.3 on RHEL 6.1 x86_64. When I try to login to the web page for the first time as root, I get Sign-in Failure. I installed this as root and I checked users using mxuser. I even added another user with full rights and still received Sign-in Failure. I checked the mx.log and there was no further message aside from Authentication Failure.

I am not getting any alerts on selinux but I turned that off and the firewall just in case and still no dice.

Anyone have any ideas?

Figured it out. Install 32 bit pam.

I've also installed the 32 bit PAM libraries but I still can't get it to work? How did you get up and running.  IIf you could detail your steps it would be brilliant; I've just posted a cry for help.

It is still complaining and when i ldd the 32 bit pam_unix.so it gives me missing libraries, could this be the reason?:

        linux-gate.so.1 =>  (0xf7722000)

        libnsl.so.1 => /lib/libnsl.so.1 (0xf76d0000)

        libpam.so.0 => /lib/libpam.so.0 (0xf76c3000)

        libaudit.so.1 => not found

        libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0xf76be000)

        libselinux.so.1 => not found

        libcrypt.so.1 => /lib/libcrypt.so.1 (0xf768d000)

        libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0xf7501000)

        /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x453df000)

        libaudit.so.1 => not found

        libfreebl3.so => /lib/libfreebl3.so (0xf74b7000)

Any help would be really useful.

What was the name of the package(s) you had to install for 32-bit pam?  I'm on CentOS 6.2 and searching for it with yum...

Found it. The Pam ldap 32-bit libraries can be installed via yum with:

sudo yum install pam_ldap-185-11.el6.i686

I am facing the same issue in HP SIM 7.0 so i was tried to install the pam libraries using

sudo yum install pam_ldap-185-11.el6.i686

But it failed due to some dependencies 

warning: pam_ldap-185-11.el6.i686(2).rpm: Header V3 RSA/SHA1 Signature, key ID c105b9de: NOKEY
error: Failed dependencies:
      liblber-2.4.so.2 is needed by pam_ldap-185-11.el6.i686

I am tried to find this on net like on http://rpm.pbone.net/ site but these dependencies are not resolved .

Can any one please help me.
