SIM - Cannot see all EVA4400 info

Hello,

I´m running "Systems Insight Manager 5.3 with SP1" and "Command View 9.1" on the same hardware. In SIM I can see the EVA and some info but not all.

At the "management" server view I miss the WBEM entry in the "Management Protocols" line:

Management Protocols HTTP:, SMH:2.0, SNMP:1.0, SSH:SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_5.1

When I run Identify systems, it returns:

This system has at least one SMI-S CIMOM installed
This system doesn't have a server CIMOM installed locally, or cannot connect to it using all credentials specified.

Running "wbemdisco" is working fine with the expected output. So the credentials and ports are fine.

Please help.

Best regards

Pär

what does the lines after This system doesn't have a server CIMOM installed locally, or cannot connect to it using all credentials specified.

Should be a line Got Computer System... this lets you know your sign in creds are working. Also did you install the ELMC on the storage server (command view server)?

Re: SIM - Cannot see all EVA4400 info

Thanks,

a few more lines:

This system has at least one SMI-S CIMOM installed
This system doesn't have a server CIMOM installed locally, or cannot connect to it using all credentials specified
Running WBEM rules based identification.
Cannot get ComputerSystem WBEM/WMI data from the system

And yes WCC Proxy is installed, up and running.

Re: SIM - Cannot see all EVA4400 info

I have similar situation:

This system has at least one SMI-S CIMOM installed
This system doesn't have a server CIMOM installed locally, or cannot connect to it using all credentials specified
Running WBEM rules based identification.
Got ComputerSystem WBEM/WMI data from the system

It seems that WBEM communication works fine...
wbemdisco - OK
I have used namespace "interop". "root" doesn't work.
