SIM-S_EVA vs SIM
Hi,
I ´m having a problem with the integration of 2 EVA4000 storage arrays into the SIM. SIM version 5.0 SP5.
CommandViewEVA5 and SIM are runnig on the same server.
SMI-S_EVA_5_0 is running although on the server. I can discover the the server and can see the EVAs correct, with hardware status ok, luns installed, capacity ...
After hours the hardware status change from "ok" to "info" because the second loops on the EVAs get this status.
I think this is a minor problem.
My problem is that later nothing more is shown under the EVAs in SIM, no LUNs, no Controller ...
I defined in the global protocol settings to accounts: root/gp_interop and the account I had to set a password during the SMI-S installation (SIM-WBEM account).
I ´m running wbemdisco and everything is running without errors.
I know this papers:
ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/products/storageworks/smisproviders/EVA_5.0.pdf
ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/products/storageworks/smisproviders/smis_troubleshooting.pdf
Somebody any idea?
Thx for your help!
andreas
