SIM Soap Interface Dokumentation
Hello,
we use SIM to monitor our HP based systems. Currently we are building a consolidated web based view that includes many different monitoring tools. For this scenario we are currently testing the SOAP interface of SIM but are in need of some API Dokumentation to get some things cleared out. Some of the exportet functions are not very self explaining.
We had some good results but still some things need to be cleared out.
Kind regards,
Marko Naletilic

Re: SIM Soap Interface Dokumentation
HP doesn't publish or support API access to HP SIM through SOAP. The only external access is through the command line tools.

Re: SIM Soap Interface Dokumentation
Marko,
HP does document some of the SQL views that are created in the database though. You can use them to pull hardware information and status of your SIM monitored systems. Check out the system help link in SIM (in 4.2 it's the big blue question mark.) There is a "Database Tables" link on the left hand side. There is extensive documentaion there. I've attached the page from my SIM 4.2 system for reference.
Good luck.
