SIM & VMWare ESX 3.5
Hi there,
I have a question about SIM & ESX, We're running SIM 5.1 SP1, with ESX Server 3.5 & the 7.91 agents installed on the ESX nodes. SIM can quite happily see the hardware & MP status but is unable to see the SMH. I can browse to https://vmnode:2381 & log in perfectly, but when I do an identify within SIM it tells me that SMH is not supported.
In order for SIM to discover the SMH, does the discovery process need to actually log into the homepage? if so where can I specify the credentials? If not any ideas appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Re: SIM & VMWare ESX 3.5
There's an issue we're currently working. The SMH install opens the firewall at 2381 but not at 2301, and HP SIM needs to find the SMH at 2301 before it finds it at 2381. If you manually open the ESX firewall for 2301, it will work.

Opening the port worked perfectly.
Thanks
