SIM integration in OMW (OVOW) on a MS cluster
Environment:
- MS cluster
- SQL EE
- OMW (Operations Manager for Windows) 8.10
- SIM V5.2 SP2
- each application has its own resource group and shared disk
- OMW and SIM are working and receiving messages, events and traps
- moving the OMW and/or SIM and/or SQL from node to node works fine
- the SIM integration SPI is installed and all node groups, tools and policies are there. The discover services works and shows the SIM servers and Insight agents service tree.
Issue:
I do not seem to get the tool 'Get SIM credentials' running. It keeps telling that the user/pwd is not valid and the other 2 suggestions. I tried 2 accounts with which i can login into SIM and work. Both accounts are domain admin and full rights in SIM and can work in OMW. Without the proper credentials file created i cannot start the event listener so no event passing/auto clearing.
Any suggestions?
Regards, Marcel
