SIM managing a mixed environment
HI,
I have three different environments running in network, SUSE Ent 9, Novell Netware 6.5 and WIN(2000 & 2003). SIM is installed on WIN2003. All my configurations on my WIN servers have gone just fine, only problem is in SIM console I donot see SW(software) status. Tells me that VCA is not connected. But the thing is I have connected all my host servers VCA successfully to VCRM. I have also managed to update all WIN servers successfully through VCRM. So why is it that it tells me that VCA is not connected?
Secondly in Netware environment I do not get SW status, is it through that netware agents donot support this feature? Also how do I create Trusted Cert? Any doc?
Thirdly In SUSE I cannot connect linux agent at all to VCRM, keeps telling me VCRM is not reachable! I am using admin credentials. Why cant linux agents connect to VCRM? If it was due to credentials I should get login error and not invalid repository.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
