SIM merges FSC TX 150 S2 together like one with several IPs
We have 4 FSC Primergy TX 150 S2 Server wich were recognized by the SIM sometimes correct and sometimes they merged together to one server with several IPs.
We found out that these server have all the same UUID reporting from the FSC Agents.
FSC Diagnose Report output:
Type 1: System Information
Name: PRIMERGY TX150S2
Vendor: FUJITSU SIEMENS
Serial-Nr: To Be Filled By O.E.M.
Version: To Be Filled By O.E.M.
System UUID: 00020003-0004-0005-0006-000700080009
We called the FSC Support.
Update The BIOS and BMC Firmware to the latest version. And than we obtained two diskette images for changing the UUID and writing the Ident Number to the mainboard.
Thats all!
Report from the FSC agents is correct and the server were shown as unique in the SIM.
Cheers Marc
