SIM not displaying snmp alerts from EVA SAN

Hi All,

I'm having trouble getting alerts from my EVA8100 SAN into SIM. WBEM has been setup, and info on the luns etc can all be accessed from SIM.

I've also configured alerts on the SAN to be sent via SNMP to SIM, but none of the alerts appear in the event window. I've confirmed the alerts are getting to the SIM host.

I've successfully uploaded the EVA MIB. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

The path is EVA->CommandView->WEBES->HP SIM.
There's an HPSIM integration option in WEBES that should be set.
WEBES can also send e-mails direct.

In WEBES I have the HPSIM Notification, ISEE Notification and E-mail set On, all others are Off.
If there are no Events appearing under the EVA in HPSIM, I'd check that WEBES is getting the events and is correctly assessing their urgency.
WEBES doesn't send all events to HPSIM. It WEBES where I think you should focus. It's not the most intuitive. Also ensure you're on the latest version, we're now on 5.6

i'm still struggling with this issue, we don't have WEBES installed, as the SAN alerts our SIM server directly via SNMP.

i've installed the SAN MIB into SIM. SIM also recognises all Lun info etc.

Any ideas on how to proceed with this?
