SIM not reporting Cisco Serial Numbers

I have roughly 200 Cisco devices being monitored by SIM. When pulling an inventory report about 20 Cisco devices have their serial numbers populated, the rest do not and I need this information. I have loaded mibs from Cisco for the various devices into SIM.

The MIBs will only help decode any snmp traps sent from the switches to HPSIM, they don't help in identification.

I'd check the snmp access you have onto the different switches, make sure the HPSIM server is an allowed host.

SNMP settings are the same across a sampling of cisco devices, some that the serial number is reporting and some that are not.
