SIM not reporting back when hardware problem is resolved

I am in the process of configuring HPSIM 5. I have the hardware alerts working to the point that I receive an email upon failure, but when I resolve the problem I don't get notification that it has been fixed.
NOTE:I have a test server that I use for my hardware testing, it is a DL385.

Any suggestions?
