SIM not working after Windows update..

I am using
Operating system: Windows 2003
Version: Systems Insight Manager 5.0 with SP5 - Windows
Build version: C.05.00.02.00
Build date: 2006-05-23 11:07

I installed the latest (as of today 16th February 2007) patches for Windows server 2003 today. After this I get errors in SIM. I can logon and see the number of events but I get a message:
HTTP Status 500 -
type Exception report
message
description The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request.
I have added a picture of the error message when starting SIM on a client (or the local server itself).

I have tried looking at the system log file, but it does not say much. I would be grateful for any support
pointing me in the right direction.

After doing a search I found a thread about 6-9 months old called "http status 500- No longer working (after MS updates) - This thread has been closed". This suggested
Try run this command "mxconfigrepo -f" from lbin directory of your Systems Insight Manager. Then start your HPSIM Service and try to logon again.
That worked out..
