Anyone know if there's a real fix for this,

I'm running into this issue again, SIMSYNC.EXE is pegging my CPU 100%.

See Mike Thompson's response for the workaround. Mike, did you find a resolution to your performance issue? Have you reported it? I'd be very interested to find out what the symptoms are. I'm having an issue myself, and if no-one else is reporting their issue, HP regards it as being a one-off situation.
