SMH in DMZ
I have a couple of servers in the DMZ that I want to be able to manage from the LAN segment. I've the necessary firewall rules setup.
The problem I have is that the SMH won't launch from SIM. It's ok if I try and open it manually. Part of the problem I have is that the names of the dmz servers aren't resolvable from the lan, so I added the servers using ip address and then changed the preferred network name. So launching from SIM tries to use the name rather than the ip address.
Thanks

Re: SMH in DMZ
HPSIM does use DNS for name resolution. You could try using a local hosts file to resolve the names you need.

Re: SMH in DMZ
I'd been hoping that it was possible to discover the system based on ip address, so that the address and network name contained the ip address but then change the preferred system name for display purposes only.
I take it this isn't possible? Or is there any other way to achieve the same result?
Thanks,
Mark
