Script to obtain VM to vCenter association?
Hi,
I'm trying to develop a SIM Custom Tool which requires the ability to divine the vCenter that is associated with the Virtual Machine node in SIM.
We are using Insight Control 6.2 with VMM registered with three vCenters (v4.0).
Doing an mxnode -lf for the VM node does not list the associated vCenter for that node, and looking at the VMM vcli.cmd does not give me anything either.
Clearly, SIM knows this info because it is visible when drilling down into the SIM node.
Is there any CLI command I can execute to obtain the node-to-vCenter association within SIM?

Re: Script to obtain VM to vCenter association?
Hi,
do not know a scripted report.
What you can do is run a enhanced report on the GUI.
"Reports - Enhanced Reports - Insight Control - Servers and corresponding VMs"
Run Report.
You can export the data as CSV, PDF, XLS and other..
Hope this helps.
kind regards
Markus
