Server shows a warning, but no warnings visible

I have one server which shows a yellow warning triangle in health status // SNMP, but both the expanded SNMP status and the SMH of the server show no errors whatsoever.

How can I find out what is causing this warning?

See attached screenshots for the SIM detail page of the server and the SMH.

Some details:

SIM 7.3 on Linux with june 2014 patch

Server runs on RHEL Linux 5.0 with SNMP agents 9.50-2564 and SMH 7.3.2-1

Hover your mouse over the minor status from the system page, what is the error?

You mean in the 'All systems' page in SIM? I see 'There's a minor problem that is causing limited interference,' (see screenshot) when I hover over the warning. See screenshot. So no extra information on what is wrong exactly there either.

Can you try updating the FW on the ilo, clear the IML log, run HW status polling.

- ILO is, as far as I know, on the last patchlevel (ILO2 2.25)

- IML had a few cleared events, I've cleared it to be safe, but 2 hours later the warnings are still present

- I've already tried deleting and rediscovering the server, but the warning still exists.

- I've run HW status polling, said that it was succesfully completed, but the warning still exists.

I wonder if the agents are not working correctly when reporting the status.

I would try downgrading your hp-snmp-agents on your linux machine to a revision lower or two then delete/add it back into sim.

I've decided to give up on solving this and I'm accepting that a few servers (it's not just this one, there are some others) will show a warning. Thanks for the help though.
