Sim 5.3 w/sp1 Reports not working anymore

After upgrading from 5.1, when running any report and selecting "CSV" , excel no longer opens. the url does state https://simservername/mxportal/reports/RPT61744.csv I have tried this on different computers. anyone know where to go to check why this has stopped working?

Does this happens on all browser? I feel just happens with IE7 and above. you can still use IE6 or firefox.

Hi, I am using IE6, I thought I double checked this before, but it does work from a tools server, but not my laptop. comparing IE settings, on my laptop I enabled "Java console" and it now works. sorry for not being more complete.
