Snmp problem

I have installed in my proliant DL 350 G3 this following packets:

It' all ok, but not the snmp service!.

When I use the "SNMP Test Trap Button", my IML logs are empty.

The /var/log/messages reports this line:

hpsmh : TTY=unknown ; PWD=/opt/hp/hpsmh/data/htdocs/webagent ; USER=root ; COMMAND=/usr/bin/snmptrap -v1 -cpublic localhost enterprises.232 6 11003 system.5.0 s mail enterprises. i 0 enterprises. s Test Trap

If I try to execute the only command:
/usr/bin/snmptrap -v1 -cpublic localhost enterprises.232 6 11003 system.5.0 s mail enterprises. i 0 enterprises. s Test Trap

I get this error:
mail: Unknown Object Identifier (Sub-id not found: (top) -> mail)

Mail is the name of my server.

My snmp.conf is:

rwcommunity mysecret
trapsink localhost
rocommunity public
syscontact Sysadmin (root@localhost)
syslocation Server Room

Any idea?

Thanks in advance..

Re: Snmp problem

Rather than install individual agents etc. you may be better off install the entire PSP.
And select the software closest to what you're running.
When the PSP is installed it asks a series of questions and sets up snmp. Well it does on vmware ESX which has a linux look.

For a comparison of snmp.conf see below for mine:
rwcommunity MYRWCom
rocommunity MYROCom
rwcommunity MYRWCom myco.co.nz
rocommunity MYROCom myco.co.nz
trapcommunity MYROCom
trapsink x.x.x.x MYROCom
syscontact root@localhost (edit snmpd.conf)
syslocation MOB3 Computer Room

The x.x.x.x would be the IP Address of your HPSIM Host.
