Software status polling only works for single target

I'm running SIM 6.0 6.0, patched up to date, on around 90 Proliants running Windows. All my target Proliants have Proliant Essentials installed, and Version Control Agent configured. BUT my servers all show up "VC Agent Not Configured" unless I do a manual software status poll on one machine at a time, in which case they show up OK. Try initiating a scan on more than one machine at a time, and they come up as not configured. And as soon as the automatic software status poll runs, everything goes back to unconfigured anyway. Any ideas, anyone?

Hi Graham,

what version are your VCAs?
Older versions had this issue.

Versions of VCA range from 2.1.10.801 to 6.1.0.841, so that's presumably the cause of the problem. Would the presence of some old versions cause problems even for those servers which have the latest version installed?
