When trying to install the updated driver via the version control agent I get the error below. This happens on both boxes. I have also manually downloaded the cp006772.exe file manually from HP and tried installing with the same result. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you for your time, Brett.

Re: Software update needed for ATI Rage XL Video Controller or not?
The only way to get around this is to disable the device in Device Manager, if you have a RILOE installed.

Re: Software update needed for ATI Rage XL Video Controller or not?
I have 2 seperate servers one running on a Proliant 1600 and the other on a Proliant DL380 G2. The 1600 wants the Riloe in slot 4,5 or 6 and it is currently in one of the embedded pci slots. The dl380 g2 should have the riloe installed in slot 1 and it is currently installed in an embedded pci slot as well. The video card is currently installed in slot 1 on the dl380g2 server.
I'm guessing this is probably the real cause of my woes. One server is at a remote location and will have to wait for the card slot swap, but i will try swapping the slots on the one here tomorrow and let all know how it goes. Thanks for the help!

Re: Software update needed for ATI Rage XL Video Controller or not?
Every DL385 G2 which I installed the 7.9 PSP is now showing the RAGE drivers as present but not updatable.
Any ideas?
