Some Critical Events are not being emailed

Some of our critical events are not being emailed or processed by our Insight Server. We have version C.05.00.00.02 running on a Windows 2003 SP1/SQL 2000 SP4 server. How would one troubleshot this?

Hiya,

Is there anything listed under:
Options -> Events -> Automatic Event Handling -> Manage Tasks

Then checking the Task Results - this should list any failure reasons for a task which is set to generate an email.

We have checked that, it does not report any failures, I also did "TEST SNMP traps" from the server this worked also.
