System Discovery Overwrites System Type
Hi
We have an isue where teh system auto discovery overwrites all our desktops etc with an unmanaged ssytem every day. If we do a Identify Systems all systems are populated OK but next time the discovery runs it wipes the data off and changes it to unmanaged. Any ideas what is happening or how we stop it?
Many thanks in advance.

Re: System Discovery Overwrites System Type
In the Edit System Properties page of the device you are editing, check the box labeled: Prevent the Discovery, Identification and Data Collection processes from changing these system properties.

Re: System Discovery Overwrites System Type
Many thanks will try it out, bit of a rigmarole if you have lots of devices, luckily we only have about 40 PC's
