Re: System Insight Manager appear clean

You have filters enabled and there's been a discovery / identification problem and they're now unknown?

Re: System Insight Manager appear clean

Yes, try disabling the filters. Rerun a discovery and see what displays.

Re: System Insight Manager appear clean

So the All systems Display is just blank?
Do you have any subnets listed in the Discovery ranges?
Have you tried manually discovering a known server?

Re: System Insight Manager appear clean

You might want to get the DBA to check out the database.
Check it's not run out of log space etc.
You'll also need to check the HPSIM log files. Go through them and see if there's anything reported.

I've not heard of the issue before and cannot think of anything that might cause this.

If that all fails then you may then need to log a call with HP.

Re: System Insight Manager appear clean

I solved that problem !

root cause:
the sim's database was run out of space, the sql express limit for the data is 4GB

solution:
i install SQL Standard locally, with the update parameter (setup.exe SKUUPGRADE=1), the wizard migrate the instance and SIM back to normally, no alerts missing after two weeks unavailable,

thanks all
