The name "(IP address)" does not represent a node in this system

Hello,
I'm a new user to Insight, and have a test system running with 2 Proliant servers to learn. I've discovered that when attempting to perform certain tasks (running the "Configure or Repair Agents" or Aquiring Updates for VPM), I get a message:

The name "(IP address)" does not represent a node in this system

where (IP address) is the IP of the server the Manager is installed. Is there a setting I missed somewhere that I need to correct? Thanks!

Are you having DNS problems?
Try going into Options->Security->System Link Configuration and select "Use the system ip address"

No DNS trouble - I tried the step above but still getting the error.

Re: The name "(IP address)" does not represent a node in this system

Is your SIM server machine has more than one network card/IP address ?
Try to run mxgethostname command
http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/hpsim/info-library5/mxgethostname.1m.html
You will see if SIM know to do DNS resolution for host.
