Trap descriptions gone after 5.1 upgrade
Hi
I'm running my CMS on SUSE Linux 9 and I upgraded HPSIM from v5.02 to v5.1 last week.
After that Event Details and Trap Descriptions from several event categories no longer show up.
Here are examples from the Fan Status Change event:
=============================================
Version: Systems Insight Manager 5.0 with Update 2 - Linux
Build version: C.05.00.02.00
Event Details: Fan Status Change (8026)
Description: Storage System fan status change. The agent has detected a change in the Fan Status of a storage system. The variable cpqSsBoxFanStatus indicates the current fan status. User Action: If the fan status is degraded or failed, replace any failed fans.
Mib Information:
The associated MIB File Name for this trap iscpqstsys.mib and the MIB identifier CPQSTSYS-MIB
==============================================
Version: Systems Insight Manager 5.1 - Linux
Build version: C.05.01.00.00
Event Details: Trap.cpqSs5FanStatusChange
Description: Trap.cpqSs5FanStatusChange
Mib Information:
The associated MIB File Name for this trap is cpqstsys.mib and the MIB identifier CPQSTSYS-MIB
===============================================
Any clues what went wrong?

Re: Trap descriptions gone after 5.1 upgrade
Problem solved when installing the latest MIB update kit (7.80)
