Troubleshooting HP SIM on HP-UX

Hi ,
I had installed HP SIM on HP-UX and was able to log in . After couple of days , I could not able to log in .

Is it because, the DB engine not running , I am not able to log in . If so , how to start the DB engine . I tried mxstop, mxstart command .
On Windows, the Service can be re-started from Administrator tool under control panel .

I feel, the information on the list of service needed for smooth functioning of HP SIM should be reported in the user guide for all platform .
