Unable to monitor disk size

I want insight manager to be able to tell me when an array on any of my servers is about to be full. I have tried the disk threshold settings repetally but can never get it to work. Please can somebody help me?

If you have your critical disk threshholds set up, it should generate an alert when they hit that mark. If you have youself set up for e-mail for critical events, you should get an e-mail as well. I have been using this feature for a long time now.

I have tried that. It will send me a messaage whenever the server gets shut down but never gets an email for the disk threashold. I will set up another alert for all critial events. Could i be missing something. I am pretty new at this.
