Uncontactable virtual systems do not stay suspended from monitoring

We have HP SIM monitoring our virtual (ESX) systems, and it identifies virtual machines that are on each HP host. Unfortunately for us, there a few virtual guests that are not able to be contacted directly from the HP SIM server, and we are sent alerts that these systems are "down".
I go in to each system and suspend monitoring indefinitely, but then after a random time, the systems re-appear and we are again sent notifications that they are down. If I delete the virtual guests, then again we are alerted.

How can we permanently stop these specified machines from being monitored and stop them coming back and stop them from sending us alerts that they our down? Our support team are getting very frustrated at investigating the alerts to find that it's SIM's fault and not the VM...

Thanks

Do you have Auto Discovery Enabled ? if so is the IP's of the VM's in question in the inclusion range ? if so put try putting those IP's in the Exclusion Range.
