Update from 6.3 to 7.1 fails
Hi all
We try to update our HP SIM 6.3 to 7.1.
The Advisor tells that everything is OK for the update.
When we start the update it goes well until the server needs to restart.
After the restart the message "setup is already running" appears and we have to kill the setup.exe and then the update screen will show again.
But all the next steps are "skipped"
The result of the HP Insight Manager: FAILED verify of silent information with existing HPSIM installation information

What OS? Have you tried disabling UAC?

I just got the same error message going from 7.1 update 2 to 7.2 UAC disabled. Run as administrator. Any ideas.

Got same error as well - for 7.1.2 upgrade to 7.2.
Haven't figured it out yet.
