Upgrade to 5.0 SP5 and move DB - How to ??

Hello.

When I upgrade HP SIM 5.0 SP4 to SP5 it still's uses the local MSDE.

How can I move the database to SQL 2005 ?

You can find the instructions in the paper "Moving HP SIM 5.0 to a New System" from http://www.hp.com/go/hpsim --> Information Library. You'll find it in a section called "Migration of HP Systems Insight Manager 5.0 with local MSDE database to another HP Systems Insight Manager with remote MSSQL 2000 database." If you ignore the part about another system, the instructions will work just fine for you.

Hello.

I have followed this guide, but can't make it work.

Some info:
HP SIM server is Windows 2003 STD 32 Bit.

The server that I wish to use as a DB server is Windows 2003 STD 64 Bit with SQL2005 STD 64 Bit.

I guess that this configuration isn't supported yet.....
