VCRM denies downloads
The VCRM has decided to stop allowing VC agents on other servers to download software updates. It is a security issue. The error message in the VCRM log is:
Incorrect login account privilege or protocol for request.

However, I can't figure out why I'm getting this. It was working fine up until a month ot so ago. Any ideas?

Re: VCRM denies downloads
Rich,
From the log it looks like the VCA is trying to contact VCRM with "Anonymous" privelege. Makesure that the VCA is using administrator/operator privelege to access VCRM.
Configure one of the VCA system with the right credentials and then use SIM to replicate this agent settings to other systems.
Good Luck

Re: VCRM denies downloads
Hmmmmm.... I thought that is how I had it configured. Can you lead me thru the process?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: VCRM denies downloads
in VCRM system, create user called "vcadmin" & create group called "vcadmins".
Open *System management Homepage* &
goto *settings*->*security*->*user groups*
& type group name (*vcadmins*) under *Administrator* or *operator*
Configure Version Control agents to use user "vcadmin" for connecting to VCRM.
