VMM Backups fail

Hi All,
I'm trying to do a Backup of a VMWare based VM using VMM 2.1 integrated with ESX 3.0.1 / VC 2.0.1
I get a failed to create backup message with a lot of java text. The bit that seems to be the issue is; Failed to add redos!;

I have integrated HPSIM with VirtualCentre and the connection tested okay.

Anything obvious I've missed?
It does get as far as creating a sub-directory for the Backup files on the specified device.
