VMM and ESX3i - is it supported? Insight Agent needed?

VMM and ESX3i - is it supported? Insight Agent needed?

If we have Blades with a ESX3i USB key with the HP providors is that enough for VMM support?
I thought that VMM requires the insight agent installed - which ESX3i does not seem to be able to accept.
But the VMM quickspecs seem to indicate that ESX3i is a supported operating system.
We are using the ESX3i U2 with HP providors image and then giving it an Enterprise license with VC.
