VMWARE VC Please help!!!!!!!!!!
Hello,
I have a really basic question, I;m running VMware esx server 3.0.1 and VC 2.0 , However the functionality I'm getting in VC is not the same as any other VC I have seen. I cannot select "clone to template" or "convert to template" those options are not present to me, the GUI looks different, I have less Icons then a typical VC and I would like to know why?
I have provided a screen shot of my environment to this post. Please let me know if I'm missing something, I fairly new to ESX and VMware in general.

Re: VMWARE VC Please help!!!!!!!!!!
It looks as if you are connecting directly to the ESX host instead of VirtualCenter?

Re: VMWARE VC Please help!!!!!!!!!!
You might also try posting on a VMware forum, this is for HPSIM.
The forums on VMware are pretty good as well.
